From Corporate America to the Billion-Dollar Natural Hair Industry Transitioning from corporate America, I brought my analytical research background into the ever-growing natural hair industry, where my passion truly thrives. By 2026, I will mark 10 years as a licensed Natural Hair Specialist, dedicated to elevating healthy hair practices and luxury loc artistry. Over the years, I have mastered microloc care and installation through more than five years of extensive, hands-on training. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside tenured Sisterloc pioneers and seasoned microloc veterans, which helped refine my precision, technique, and professional standards. This foundation prepared me to selectively install and expertly maintain luxury microlocs and latch-locs, ensuring long-lasting, beautifully structured results for clients. My skill set has since expanded to include crochet maintenance, loc repair, and both traditional and interlock-style extensions. I have been formally trained through a Crochet Master Class and Instant Loc Crocheting for Afro Hair, and I continue to grow by actively applying these advanced techniques as reminder in daily practice.
